We have recieved mails from a few people already and it's safe to say D-/D is the most prominent skill level we have so far!
We would like to remind everyone to send us a mail to register, just posting on reddit that you're in for it does not give the information we need to create the match-ups!
You can advertise this tournament as long as it's to the right crowd. (Reddit-minded people, we don't want 3l33t kids starting flame wars now do we?)
We're also pleased to announce that we will set up a server for all of the tournament's replays, this will give everyone a chance to review each other's game and get pointers from their peers if they aren't sure they played their game the best they could have!
Replays should be saved by both players (and the referee if there is one available) to make sure we get at least one! Replays should be mailed to NarwhalCup@gmail.com and we'll upload them to the server. This could also be proof if you suspect your opponent cheated. (lurker hold etc. rules will be posted in more detail when we're closer to the tournament, we haven't even announced the start date yet!)
And lastly we would like to ask if any of you (players or just observers) would be interested in acting as a referee to make sure no funny business goes on during the matches, and maybe host a game for people who are unable to host one, please let us know by sending us an email at NarwhalCup@gmail.com! (A guide on how to host a game will be posted later on)
We hope to recieve more registrations soon!
